"good on a sliding scale"=totally appropriate. Sure, it was a great season, but like you said...they didn't win the big show by any means. And yet, they're naming a sports bar after a "good enough" season? I'm guessing it's more for demographic (is anyone on Cap Hill old enough to remember when the Sonics won it all) than anything else.
