@2 -- Nope. As stated, a fraction of the book comes from past Back to School guides, and two of the four primary authors are WOMEN people! Female beings! Ladies, even! Bethany and Lindy wrote a ton of new stuff.

@3, will Lindy hersefl be there? Not that I'm starstruck or anything... (and I read @2's phrase as "How to be a Straight Person or Gay Male Person", taking it to be a tweak over the traditional non-lesbianicity of the ol' masthead).
