Being gay doesn't mean that we are terrified of vaginas. It's just that they have all the sex appeal of a brand-new toaster oven to us. It's straight men who are terrified of the pussy, because it holds such power over them. They spend half their lives begging for access; they enter enlarged, and exit diminished. To top it all off, it can bring forth a whole new person - unbidden - who will exit that orifice and step all over their dreams. If I were rendered that weak and pathetic by something, it would scare me too. Poor straight guys...
