If you are referring to the infamous Rug Outlet, I disagree with your assessment that it was a "junk store." It was an awesome place where you could barter for goods OR talk to Marilyn about your sign. She is a lovely woman and had a very special business model. Apparently the Rug Outlet was flooded about a year ago and the business was forced to close. Fortunately, she has moved over to Happy Endings on 13th and Madison, bringing goodwill and pizazz with her. Bless her and long live the Rug Outlet in our hearts.
