It's Adam and Eve, not T-Rex and Feathers!

I'm suddenly curious if there's Bible fan fiction involving Noah, an arc, and some epic, close-quarters dino battles.

I'm also starting to wonder if certain dinosaurs may have been... delicious.

In my copy of the Bible, it says that Jesus rode a Sun Chariot pulled by Seven Golden Dinosaurs, adorned with Rainbow Feathers.

Not sure if that means Jesus was a feathered dinosaur or the Dinosaurs pulling the chariot were feathered ...

(caveat: this is a bible from about 200 years ago, one of many different ones published in the USA)

Those heels are pretty cool, except the tyrannosaur is standing all wrong. Its back should be nearly horizontal, not nearly vertical.

@3: Certain dinosaurs are delicious. We call them chickens.

Ah - I see: It's because birds were created on day 5 of creation, and dinosaurs were created on day 6. So if dinosaurs had feathers, the order would be wrong, and it would expose their theory of creation as a fraud.

Yes: THAT is the evidence that threatens to bring down their house of cards.

"These animals were a distinct 'kind' that were created, saved upon Noah’s ark, and totally wiped out for some unspecified reason during the past 4,300 years or so."

And yet no one bothered to write about them, or draw pictures of them, like all the other animals that humans have observed over the past few thousand years of recorded history. Stone-age humans drew pictures of wildebeast and panthers, but for some reason the Brontosaurus didn't impress them enough to bother mentioning.

Creationists: why have dinosaurs been kept such a big secret if they co-existed with humans during biblical times?

This is awesome. Thanks Mary. Also, Gwen and I won't get to be pandas until Friday. Save some fun for us!

For these folks, everything, yea, *everything* is in the bible somewhere. Enough physical evidence shows up for dinosaurs, so now dinosaurs have to be in the bible. I'm still waiting for proof that "God's Plan" includes the iPhone 5 and Donald Trump's hair.

Literalists painted themselves into a corner with the "6,000-year-old earth and the bible is literally true" stuff and nonsense, so now they're stuck with it. What an epic self-trolling.

Adam and Steve
Were having tea
With T-Rex
In the garden.
Then, all that was left
Was an empty tea cup
and a loud burp
For which Mr. Rex
Begged Pardon!
