I love sitting me in some 'small Japanese.' The smaller the better, I likes it cozy.

It took that typo to make me realize the sensuality of the phrase "stir your meat in a hot pot of broth". Yes Charles... I believe I know exactly what sound that makes.

So, was it good? I've been walking by that place on my way to work for like, four months now. But still I can only think "Shabby chic" when I walk by it.

Charles, I think you mean kachi-kachi for the clock sound in Japanese. (They also pretty commonly use chiku-taku, or chikku-takku, from the English tick-tock.) Kachin-kachin is more for things that are frozen up.

@6, I think you mean shabu-chic.
