Jen, you're not hiding your prejudice very well in this article. Please obfuscate it with more innuendo and petty sniping and resubmit. Don't forget to pepper it with attacks on white male artists this time.

In my opinion, gender, race and class are still relevant topics. Cheers to Jen for being honest and courageous enough to write about topics that some of us think we've moved beyond. @TortoiseTurtle, I find your comment to be very self centered. Wouldn't it be beautiful, easy and downright rad if we lived during a time where we didn't need to account if you were a male or female artist? White, Yellow, Red or Black? Rich or broke-ass? Unfortunately, the hurdles of gender, race and class are still very relevant to our temporal experience. In my opinion these type casts will hopefully allow us to better understand ourselves and help us realize, more importantly, our connectivity. Your comment gives me the impression that your perspective lengthens our divide.
