YAY! But, isn't that Darragh on the left?

Um, Langs must be the guy on the RIGHT in that photo, as it's Darragh Kennan on the left. But, to the larger point of your article. Wahoo!! Langs' work is brilliant (that Hamlet production *swoon*). This makes me less grumpy about ACT announcing a price increase in their ACTpass, starting January. Base level from $25 to $30.

Yay! This is great news! Yet another artistic department of a major theater in Seattle run by two white guys!!!

Let's see...

The Rep (Jerry/Braden)
Intiman (Andrew/Ali)
The Fifth (David/Bill)

and now ACT (Kurt/Langs)

What a groundbreaking move!

Are all you other white guys starting to worry that there's not room for you in the Seattle theater scene now? Don't worry. ACT's upcoming season has plenty of room for you! Five white guy directors should give you opportunities a-plenty to act, write and design the stories of white people.

Or perhaps you were mad because you were one of the few white actors not cast in their huge nod to diversity, Ramayana this year. But don't worry, it was directed, designed and choreographed by white folks so thankfully they showed us that there's still plenty of room for white artists (phew!)

White people make Seattle theater work!!!
