MCR are one of my 1,000s of guilty pleasures.

Nachos? My staple.

They have $2 hotdogs at Red Square and free cupcakes and t-shirts.

Right now.

Mmmmm.

Try humming "Call me maybe".

A couple weeks ago I had a sudden and irresistable urge to bust out my old Marilyn Manson CDs and give them a spin. That it was a somewhat unpleasant experience is what also made it rather satisfying.

I think it's much lamer not to listen to embarrassing music occasionally. Far cooler to be a little (or lot) bit uncool and relaxed about it than to be totally impeccable/uptight. Meanwhile, Styx.

Dr Praetorius used to say of each of his vices: 'It is my only vice.'

Sometimes I listen to Blind Melon and go to Denny's to eat Buffalo chicken strips.

The other day I may have accidentally turned on Spotify's "Emo" radio station for just a few minutes.

More, I Say! 12
This happens to me ALL THE TIME. I also regularly wake up with the most random songs stuck in my head - stupid shit that I haven't listened to in YEARS. I had to go on a mad, embarrassing download binge when I couldn't stop thinking about Abba's All that She Wants for days. GOD AND I LOVED IT! I love so much shitty music! My favorite genre is pop, and I'm ok with it now.

Try eating more vegetables and less refined carbs - my shitfood cravings (especially for salty things) pretty much vanished after I upped my veg intake to a minimum five servings a day and quit snacking on candy.

That said, florentines and the Spice Girls.

Yeah it happens to me too.

I ended up buying an entire Pilot cd just to have the song Magic. Pilot was a 1970s glitterish pop band from the UK. They're slightly less cheesy than The Bay City Rollers. Although I was able to find the song on iTunes, it had been remastered and thus destroyed. Still, I had to have it so I ordered a whole cd that's just unlistenable, not even worth describing but for Magic.

I can also add Pitbull, Usher, The Dixie Chicks and Lucinda Williams song: Passionate Kisses (covered by May Chapin Carpenter which is really the embarrassing part since Williams isn't hack and the song wouldn't be hack but for the production values).
