Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" will forever bring back memories of dancing in the streets after Obama won in 2008. I think it was Neighbors that brought speakers out and blasted it to the crowd. So good.

I remember approximately 4% of those albums from 2008. My spottily-scrobbled last.fm charts suggest my late-October/early-November sounded like:
Mount Eerie & Julie Dorion (Lost Wisdom), No Age (Nouns), Spiritualized (Songs in A&E), Menomena (Friend & Foe), Okkervil River (the Stand Ins), Foals (Antidotes), Ra Ra Riot (EP) with unusually high doses of Belle & Sebastian and Kings of Convenience.
It also seems like I spent the week leading up to the election watching all of Mad Men. Memories.
