Shocked! I am utterly shocked, and will frankly admit it!
Constant has written a superior book review, absolutely factually correct (at last!!!!!).
And Morris' bio of Edison was pretty f'n paltry as well.
Morris has too many shortcomings as a biographer --- fortunately, unlike Paula Broadwell, his subjects are usually dead so he can't blow them simultaneously as he's writing about them.
