The Sanctuary at Admiral will host weddings for 20 couples and the last the West Seattle Blog updated they still have spots open. I don't know for sure if it's free for the couples but it sounds like it is.

I heard there were King County judges prepared to marry couples on Sunday at the Courthouse (free, I assume), but have no confirmation.

This post totally warms my heart. I love how Seattle is embracing and celebrating this new-found freedom. Congrats Washingtonians!

I can vouch for the minister at Saltwater, @7. He did both my grandparents' memorial services and my wedding years ago, and he is a kind, gracious guy and one of the best UU ministers I've had the pleasure of meeting.

Just do what Occupy idiots do, just show up at any park and have it there. No need for a permit like I and my wife had to apply for, just show up and piss people off.

@9, agree knowing some people who are getting married. I hope SCOTUS interprets it as a right if they choose to weigh. I view it as the equal protection issue of this generation, but I'm worried it's a year or two ahead of being a no-brainer with only a handful of states recognizing it.

It's your wedding day, but I implore you: don't get married in a bar. The photos will be depressing.

As of today, the Skansonia and Lake Union Cafe still have openings. It's totally free: ceremony, food and drinks, flowers, music, and photos! I'll be on the Skansonia performing the ceremony!

TAKE THE FERRY TO MARRY! IN BEAUTIFUL PORT TOWNEND!
Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, in Port Townsend, is opening our hearts and doors to all couples who want to marry on Sunday, December 9, 2012. In celebration of the passage of Referendum 74, we invite any same-sex couple who would like to marry, to be wed in our sanctuary. We are also hosting an ongoing reception celebration for couples and their guests following the nuptials (champagne toast, wedding cupcakes, well wishes and good cheer!)
The gathering and celebration will begin at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 9. Any couple, who arrives with a Washington State marriage license, will be Joyfully Joined in Matrimony, between 2:00PM and 5:00 PM. Rev. Bruce Bode and Carol Thomas Cissel have volunteered to perform the weddings at no charge. QUUF is located at 2333 San Juan Avenue in Port Townsend. If you are interested in being married on December 9 (or would like more information), please contact the church office at 360-379-0609, or quuf@olympus.net or see our website at quuf.org.
