Thank you Jen, I appreciate the backstory. I didnt expect it would be so difficult and technical to hang the friedman piece.

Its unfortunate that museums dont always do a better job illustrating the narrative of a piece's creatiion or installation.

A piece may appear bland or overly simple, until one learns the story behind it.

I saw Now here is also nowhere last week and had no idea how challenging the installation of Friedman's piece was.

Good story, but it reminds me of Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me's "Bluff the Listener" segment. Betcha they hang an actual cube constructed like a TinkerToy, secure the corners with their guy wires, then remove and hide the edge struts.

...That's what I'd do, anyway.
