Hear, hear. Without Bruni we gays of a certain age would be bereft of nationally-credible punditry studded with Judy and Barbra references. Thank gawd for Frank. (Srsly, that DOMA column was just beautifully done - thanks for linking to it.)

I just read both columns, and they were both beautifully written.

The difference between someone like Bruni and someone like Michelle Malkin: both will have their detractors, but it would be hard to deny the intelligence and substance of Bruni's remarks.
