Bill O'Reilly doesn't want their vote. He wants your viewership.

Troll 1, Paul 0.

Whatever nonsense he was spouting was given greater credibility by the montage of leg and butt footage.

"First of all, Republicans are going to have to get off this bullshit theory that all liberals are lazy. It's a big reason why Mitt Romney lost the presidency, and it's an off-putting fallacy."

It was only a problem for Mitt Romney when Mitt Romney was caught saying it. And for the record, he didn't say "liberals," he said "47% of Americans." Frankly, if he HAD just said "liberals," it wouldn't have had any impact. And since this is being stated by Bill O'Reilly, professional liberal basher, that part of it will have even less impact.

Just because practically everyone in the US either doesn't know about or likes to pretend the Chinese Exclusion Act (and a long litany of other abuses sanctioned by the federal government against persons of Asian descent) never happened doesn't mean members of the impacted groups have forgotten.

O'Reilly couldn't find anyone to talk to but one of his own yes-man producers? That's pathetic.

@6 Was going to say the same thing but glad I didn't have to because you did. Which makes me even lazier maybe.

Right on, @4 usagi! The word, "camp" doesn't conjure up memories of making lanyards in a cabin next to Lake Winnipesaukee for people in my community.

Nope, we understand that when racist blowhards like O'Reilly get to decide who the "real Americans" are, we're all in trouble.

@1 for the insightful win.

He just wants ad revenue and he'll say anything to get it. Controversy pays the bills. Which he then stores offshore in illegal deposits.

I work beside a number of hard-working Asian immigrants: they voted Democratic, and for Obama.

Even those with limited English skills, had figured out that the Republicans weren't their best bet.

I'm guessing O'Rielly also thinks Asian's make excellent dry cleaner's, corner store owners, math geeks and subservient/dragon wives. But nothing else.

What exactly is up with the footage of "Asians" on the street in Hawaii?

It is like some creeper footage or someone trying to catch a prostitute. You only see legs and ass and it is just the same two women over and over in different spots because they are trailing them in a car?!?!?!

So Asians are normally industrious and conservative, except in environments like Hawaii where they succumb to The Drugs and become lazy Democratic prostitutes? I don't get the premise. Drugs make normally-conservative people liberal? Asians are more susceptible to drug-abuse? Californians are ruining a normally conservative state?
I think I'd be offended if he made any sense.

@6 and @10, I'd like to be lazy, but I have too much work to do.

The Naturalized Asians I work with are all Democrats. But I work at the Patent Office with a bunch of PhDs. Of course they're going to vote intelligently.

Asians vote democrat because the party is now the party of the sensible center, under both Clinton and now Obama. Put Jesse or Al on the ticket, and watch them flee.

I think that having reluctantly (each time) accepted Germans, then Irish, then Italians, then Poles, then even Hebrews as 'white, or white enough', the Republicans are angling to make 'Orientals' (those people _love_ the term) the next addition to the 'white' team.

This is the same Bill O'Riley that can't understand tides and thinks they're a complete mystery that man kind will never solve? Yes, I can see why talking about this intellectual giant of conservative media is important.

That was sarcasm (in case you couldn't tell).

It's obvious, and has been for some time, that O'Reilley is a double agent on our side.
Biggest proof: Bill OReilly does a better job of keeping conservatives in their place (and out of office) than Stephen Colbert.
He always misdirects the neo-con sheep into worthless issues (more effectively than Glenn Beck leads his sheep to worthless gold investments).

weakest, but funnest proof:
Conspiratorialists, please note also:
Colbert plays the part of an O'reilly knockoff neo-conservatron.
Colbert calls Bill "Papa Bear".
Colbert consistantly calls Bears the #1 threat on the threatdown.

ergo... Conservative character "Colbert" believes Bill the biggest threat (to neo-cons like him).
:)
They are both no less fictional than the other.

That's truthiness.
