Can we rip the lid off this teapot.

It's not a "party". It has no elected officials, and does not appear on any ballot.

It is basically a mooching adolescent, living in the GOP's basement.

Imagine. A white, northern-European magazine's white, northern-European researchers collect data on ELEVEN variables (Eleven? Really? Like, that must have taken a SUPER-DUPER-COMPUTER with an extra big hard drive. Did I say supercomputer? I meant smartphone. Vintage 1995 PDA really. Eleven variables. Shit.)

And their conclusion?

The whitetst, northernest, Europeanest countries are TEH BESTEST. Which countires are teh suK? Southernest, blackest, un-Europeanest. Film at... at... 11.

You know it takes more than 11 variables to figure out if a player is a decent Major League pick, right? Holy shit.

@1

Probably 2/3s of the Republican House members consider themselves part of the Tea Party.

No. The Tea Party Caucus counts 51 members, out of 233 Republicans. Not even close.
