The study of bacterial biomes will soon be as big and as medically significant as the study of genomes. There's good evidence to suggest that the radical changes in human bacterial biomes over the last 50 years resulting from anti-biotics and excessive hygiene may play a role in emerging problems such as obesity and food intolerance.

Its sounds Important, it IS imporrtant.
