Sadly, this comes as no surprise.

Bitching and moaning per usual. So what? I'm just glad the right guy won. 4 more years! (And hopefully, Secretary Clinton runs in 2016).

The fact that people like Kengor consider Obama "a radical-left 'progressive'", instead of the near-left centrist he really is tells me pretty much everything I need to know about people like Kengor.

Malkin's under-blogger Doug Powers posted the menu and calorie count for the inaugural dinner and contrasted it with a sample menu that meets Michelle's new nutritional guidelines for public school lunches. Because TOTAL HYPOCRITEZZZZ!!! somehow.

And Mittens was nowhere to be seen. The last time a presidential loser failed to show up for his honorary dinner during the inauguration festivities was Mondale back in '85.

The speech was wonderful...but bottom line, the only change I've seen from the past four years is the $50 that is now missing from my paycheck.

I don't know how you trust fund babies see money, but with a kid in college, and trying to get entrepreneurial activities going $50 to me...in fact, every red cent, is important.

Between all the shouting, and teary eyed speeches, the real world experience is that of a flim-flam man who walked off with even more of my money, back into the circus tent, to think of the next side show for ripping me off.

I'm a middle class guy too and thankful that under Obama 98% of us got a tax cut. Glad to have him in office when the GOP only cares about the rich.

"... trying to get entrepreneurial activities going $50 to me..."

Is about what you were going to spend on a monthly company health plan for the wage slave you'd like to hire, right?

@8,
Don't be such a short-sighted crybaby.

$50 "missing" from your paycheck?? Please...

Did you really think we could throw our country into two wars AND cut taxes and think everything would "magically" work without us having to pay for it?

Wake up. GWBush ran up the nation's credit card and now the bill's come due. You should thank your fucking stars if all you have to pay is $50 per paycheck for the financial disaster that retard got us into.

Think about that next time you consider voting republican. They spend like drunken sailors... don't let them tell you otherwise. If you believe the horseshit they tell you about the republicans being "fiscally conservative" then you deserve to lose your entire paycheck.

I think David Brooks was fair. Not earth-shatteringly insightful or anything, but he at least seems to understand what the Prez is actually saying, rather than projecting his caricature of the left onto him.

A few things conservatives cant seem to get thier head arround are:

1. The only prerequisite to human rights is that you are a human.
2. The science is real. It's not a plot by Al Gore to scare people.
3. Until we take money out of the equation with "Clean Elections" we will continue to evolve from a democracy into a plutocracy.
