I'm sure many Catholics felt queasy when they realized that some of their donations to the church was helping fund and hide pedophiles. They could take solace in the hope that their money went towards better things like humanitarian efforts.

This campaign leaves little doubt where the money is going, and that's going to be a hard fucking sell.

How much money was siphoned off by the national church and the Vatican? The same Vatican which is being investigated for money laundering. Leave your Visa/Mastercard at home, the Vatican can't accept them.

They should have stuck with medieval tithing. That works for the uber-wealthy LDS. After all, they stuck with medieval ideas about women, so why drop a proven winner?
