Funny.
It's too bad people don't understand that in certain communities gun ownership and concealed carry are a point of pride. In other areas, this is shunned/feared.

I was disappointed to learn this wasn't a WA business. Though I don't normally get carryout pizza, when I do I enjoy showing off my new holster.

That's nice. I like feel good stories.

Hm, I wonder if he'd give me a discount if I showed up with a holstered water pistol. Just thinking out loud here...

@1: other than the Concealed Carry "community", which communities are those? the Southside Chicago Gang "community"? The Taliban "community"?

help me to understand.

@5 - It's the same community that likes "showing off their new holsters" to people that work in pizza places making them nervous.

So what? To each their own. Nobody's getting hurt.

@7: Will you say that again after a pissed off customer with poor impulse control shoots one of the minimum wage employees because he forgot to hold the olives?

Isn't the point of "concealed" carry so that nobody knows you have it?

If you keep showing everyone your concealed firearm, it's not really concealed anymore.

What a funny (not "ha ha") thing to see on the JoeMyGod website: gun ads alongside the sexy underwear ads. I particularly like the guy with a pistol on one hip and a BABY on the other.

What could go wrong?

Add to the list of crazy laws the NRA has pushed through: outrageous liability protection for gun owners and gun manufacturers. We all know that you can easily be sued if your speech or publication causes injury or loss, First Amendment notwithstanding. Yet for the nuts, anything tangentially connected with the special amendment the amendment that plays by its own rules, is required to have all sorts of extra consideration.

We can change that. You should be able to sue gun owners, and establishments that encourage irresponsible behavior with guns, for any injuries that ensue. Look how many people got shot on Gun Appreciation Day. In that case, and in this one, it has a lot to do with the type of loony gun owners you draw together in a crowd.

You should be able to sue gun owners for not storing their guns safely, and not carrying them safely too.

@13. You can sue gun owners for damages caused by negligence..
Common tort law, with no exceptions.

Does anyone actually read Cthulu's bloviating posts? I don't. It has not learned how to be succinct...

@15

Leaving your gun unlocked is not considered negligence. It's one of the reasons the NRA has fought making them mandatory.
