What does affordable housing mean in this context? Like, will it be available to all, or must you qualify as low-income to be considered?

Yayyyyyy more construction on 12th. It's not like those of us who live on that street want to ever be able to use the sidewalks again or anything.

@6 they do that a lot for groundbreaking ceremonies. Problem is the media actually expects you to "break ground".

as I found out a few years ago when I needed to move, the term 'low income' is a strange beast. One can be too poor, yes, too poor, to qualify to live in several complexes in the city designated as having 'low income' apartments available. wtf?

88 affordable housing units mean, if you make 32k a year, married, 2 kids, wife doesn't work, then you cant afford to live there.
