As Mike Malone said in his remarks today, this wouldn't have happened without Mayor McGinn working for years to make this happen (when they weren't able to make any progress with NIckels). Campaigning or not, thanks.

Is there anything in the long history of human pomp and ceremony that is stupider than a "groundbreaking"?

as I found out a few years ago when I needed to move, the term 'low income' is a strange beast. One can be too poor, yes, too poor, to qualify to live in several complexes in the city designated as having 'low income' apartments available. wtf?
