We loved Agrodolce, and appreciate you creating a neighborhood restaurant in Fremont. I've been trying to replicate the Curve Ball, which is one of the best drinks I've ever had.

Having spent a bit of time in EU and around the Med and its peoples, I can assure you that you will not see either of these two "Mediterranean" recipes in any country which has a Mediterranean shore. If I am indeed wrong on this, please link to a menu or food review that shows my ignorance.

In response to the last 4 posts...
post #1 - so glad you are enjoying agrodolce. i heart fremont. my bar manager for GB will get you the recipe for the curve ball :).

post #2 - you are to kind. i really appreciate your support!

post #3 - you are correct! you will not find these recipes ripped from a food review or menu. they are dishes that i came up with, using ingredients that you can find in the mediterranean (or at least i found while traveling through cairo, beruit, athens, kalymnos, istanbul, and morocco).
for uber authentic recipes, please enjoy the cookbook recommendations that i listed for ya'll.

post #4 - what is in almond spice? sorry, that is another recipe that we use at GB, that i forgot to add in. basically it's a mixture of cumin, fennel seed, coriander, tumeric, allepo pepper, paprika, salt, white pepper, and black pepper. but you can use whatever suits your fancy.
