@4 Urqutha, you would be correct when speaking of the standard storm trooper. But think of all the officers you see throughout the Imperial Fleet.

@4: The Grand Army of the Republic was composed of clone troopers, who became the first stormtroopers. However, by the time of the Battle of Yavin (two decades after the Clone Wars ended), it had become necessary to recruit normal humans into the stormtrooper ranks, due to the limited production capacity of the Kaminoan cloning works (and the eventual loss of Kamino to the New Republic). After another few decades, the various remnants of the Empire had even resorted to enlisting women and non-humans as stormtroopers.
