A continent of millions couldn't hold him back! Our guy Macklemore is back home from Europe and rarin' to give you his all at Nectar come March 8, Seatown. Really it's an all-around helluva bill—also appearing are JFK of Grayskul, the Physics, and Wizdom (featuring Grynch). Big ups to the Physics, as they have infiltrated KEXP's Top 10 hiphop charts. They are currently enjoying some choice airplay for their classically SEA-minded hiphop, and they recently filmed a video for their undeniable joint "Ready for We."

Grayskul recently got back from Europe they damn self, and filmed a vid for their Andrea Zollo–featuring single, "Missing." My man Ninjaface—I mean JFK—is also recording a solo album that (and I'm being real now) is going to tear mufuckas' heads smooth off! Sounds messy, but what I'm saying is, this is the best stuff J has done yet, period. If you wanna get some joints from the unreleased album JFK completed years ago, hit up his MySpace (www.myspace.com/jfkakaninjaface) and download some from the player, player!

Listen though, that's just the last night of a hellafied three-day stretch of dope hiphop at Nectar. On March 6, get treated to Portland's own Lifesavas—yeah, those guys who dropped the ridiculous (and ridiculously slept on) Gutterfly last year—complete with a live band! Considering that vintage Willie Dynamite–type vibe they brought on that album, that should sound pretty fly, daddy. They're there with One Struggle featuring Ras K'Dee (not dude from Da Lench Mob mind you). Gabriel Teodros and WD4D host that shindig. Then on the eve of the 7th, check Alpha P (which, despite what I said a couple weeks ago, does not just include Asun and Jerm, but also Kazi, Inkbiz, Rajnii, Julie C, and Rufio), along with Kublakai, Premonition, and the smirking rhymes of Tacoma's well-known asshole Jay Barz. That beast of a beatbox Audio Poet hosts.

The Undisputed Truth himself—Minneapolis's Brother Ali—is coming to town... you gotta know Ali's got one of the meanest shows out; don't miss him. I've never seen him do less than utterly captivate a crowd with his humility, sincerity and, of course, with the skill to rock like the greats. The Truth Is Here Tour also features Toki Wright, BK One, and Ali's fellow Rhymesayer, Abstract Rude; those in the know are anxiously awaiting Dear Abby, the album-length collaboration between Ab Rude and the very soul of the town, Vitamin D. Rhymesayers also have a heater on the way with Jake One's White Van Music, which has a FIIIIIYAH joint from the now 100-percent G-Unit-free M.O.P. I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to Billy Danze and Fizzy Womack though... if they opted to make gun-clapper noises and scream maniacally for 32 bars apiece, I'd be there. Wouldn't you? recommended
