Human trafficking is contemporary slavery, trapping nearly 21 million people in forced labor around the world. This conference, hosted by the UW Women's Center aims to educate the attendees about human trafficking with the aim to eventually eradicate it. Main topics include: Forced Migration & Labor Rights, International Trade Agreements, Human Rights, Public Health, Improving Survivors Services, Ethical Sourcing & Sustainable Development, and Humanizing the Impacts of Human Trafficking.
