Worth a try

I just moved to Fremont from LA and I live 1/2 block from Triangle. I can see why some wouldn't like it because at first glance it looks like every other douchey frat-hole in the area. Weekend nights are very loud and crowded with youngish, trendy people, but I actually think the crowd is more mature and less pretentious than alot of other places I've been to in Seattle....for instance I was at the Ballroom on a night where 2 fights broke out, and I've never seen anything close to that happen at Triangle. The bartender gives me just as much service as the hot girls at the other end of the bar, which is totally cool. Drinks are a little overpriced ($5 for a well), but strong. They have a good happy hour too...a laidback young-professional vibe, plenty of seating, cheap drinks and cheap food that is pretty damn tasty....and my smokin' hot waitress was super attentive and friendly. Basically I think most people will have a good time there if they gave it a chance.

Hate this bar!

Staff was lazy, service was super poor. I would strongly suggest going to the Ballroom. I sincerely hope the Triangle gets shut down for serving minors or something.

Wha Happened?

Used to head to the Triangle for lazy Sunday afternoon cocktails, never crowded, windows wide open, was a favorite place to hang and drink and avoid the Sunday-afternoon-have-to-go-back-to-work-tomorrow blues. Complete opposite during the weekend evenings, don't recommend it,turns into deuches and the women who love them. Actually, don't recommend it at ALL now. Went in last weekend and it looks as though they're under new management and trying to bring in higher paying clientel, menu has been reduced by half, cut out a lot of the standard bar fare, and they're now serving a friggen' $26.00 burger! WTF?!!! I've lost yet another haunt. Who ever the new management is, they suck.

meh

Everytime I've been here its either way over-crowded..or the bartender is wasted. Personally I don't like standing in a mosh pit for 10 minutes to fight my way to the front for a drink when there are plenty of other, more relaxed bars in fremont where I can get a drink.

Terrible Food! Service is not much better!

Not sure why people go here. Must be the hottie bartenders. I guess it's worth it if they're comp'ing your drinks.

Hottie bartenders!

I would have to say that the Triangle boasts some hot male bartenders...highly recommended. Cheap beer, fun atmosphere and outdoor seating. Loved it!

go for brunch!

They don't seem advertise that they have serve brunch all that well. But I had the best crab cakes there. We pretty much had the place to ourselves.
