Ain't nothing like it.

I hit Bakeman's about 3 times a week, so I tend to burn out on the turkey sammich. But the meatloaf sandwich is killer, the soups rock, and the heavy-plate daily specials will bloat the gut in a good way. And the owner's a-hole attitude make me laugh every day.

The Best in 1973

Answer me this - Do they still offer a Meatloaf Sandwich? It has been 35 plus years, but I still can remember how truly wonderful they were. And that you need only to order the 1/2 sandwich because the full was way too much. Oh those were the days

AWESOME!

By far that was the BEST sandwich i have ever had. I don't normally like turkey, and my older brother ordered it, and i wish i did too! I had the roast beef and it was SO good too! I also had chili, which was great. I liked how the bread and desserts and soups were all homemade. Keep up the great work!

Down and dirty

Hey the food is good, fast and reasonably priced. The sarcasm from the owner makes my day. He gives as good as he gets. True, his turkey sandwich is killer, so is the rest of them. I work downtown and he is worth the walk.

Damn you Bakeman's

Why do you haunt my dreams and taunt me by being just out of timely lunch commute? Would you please start delivering to Fremont? And Greenwood? And anywhere else I might happen to be during lunch. I miss you so much and you haven't even texted me with your sweet turkey nuthins. I swear I'll know what I want at all times, even if I would be the happiest guy in the whole world with any possible combination of your lusciousness. Come back to me and I won't be sad anymore.
