middling

Granted it was New Year's Eve, but the food seems to be slipping, the service was a little odd and it really wasn't that great a value. I really like it a couple years ago, but I'm not sure I'll be back soon after my recent visit. I was a little disappointed, and I know my guests from out of town weren't thrilled with my choice.

Great meals

I've had great meals here. And surprisingly kid friendly too. Standard quite-upscale American dishes with a gourmet touch.

Pear Salad

The pear salad is superb. The other stuff is anywhere from good to v. good. The surprising thing about this place is that you'd expect it to feel a lot more upscale and nice for what it costs. Instead it feels more like cross between a nice restaurant and a cafeteria - weird. It's in a good location although lacking any view. Hard to figure out exactly why you'd go because nothing stands out. But it is above average and if you go make sure you have the pear salad. NO. REALLY. TRUST ME ON THIS. I don't like salads and I don't particularly like pears... but this thing has bacon in it. So very good. I can't give it 4 stars for that alone, but it is tempting.
