Balancing out the negative reviews

Both negative reviews don't tell the whole story. Bicks serves reliably good food, even though it might be spendy for the area. One bad experience does not a bad restaurant make. What the f--- is the Arrowhead? I've lived here for 16 yrs and it's always been Bicks.

food OK, overpriced

I agree it doesn't hold a candle to its predecessor, The Arrowhead. Now it is expensive, parking is a pain and despite high menu prices, they won't take American Express because they charge too much! Pfft. Talk about a snake calling someone low down... Service is good.

don't risk it

Heard so many good things about this place - & the atmosphere is really nice, service good, menu interesting. But I got very, very sick after my meal, & I know it was the food at Bick's. No response from manager even after in-person conversation & follow-up letter - no apology or anything. So - nice ambience & above-average menu - who cares? not if it means food poisoning + uncaring owner. I'll never go back.

Great Ribs

Excellent Ribs - nice tangy asian spice - family friendly neighborhood restaurant - Service is usually good if not too crowded.

Great place in North Seattle

We've gone to Bick's repeatedly for the last several years, great variety on the menu, lots of awesome spicy food and excellent steaks, nice bar, great beers on tap. Only gripe we've ever had is the service can be a bit MIA when they're swamped, but have never left without having loved whatever we ordered. Highly recommended!
