Lousy service

I took my girlfriend and her two kids to Zeek's. We ordered two pizzas, a salad, and some drinks. The server disappeared for 20 minutes. We stood up. Didn't see her. Couldn't get our drinks. Had no idea where the food was. She finally brought the drinks and then the pizza. And the salad? Nope, no salad. We struggled to get her attention. Oh! I didn't bring the salad! Whoops! 10 minutes later, she came with the salad. "It got lost in the kitchen."

Uh, yeah. $55 later and all we got out of it was lousy service, mediocre food, and the intense desire to NEVER return. I sent an e-mail about my experience via the Zeek's Web site. Never received a response. I suppose they're accustomed to receiving and ignoring very dissatisfied correspondence from no-longer customers.

It shouldn't be possible to fuck up pizza...

Seriously, why is this place still in business? Furthermore, how are 4 locations still in business? Wait! how is it possible that Zeek's is popular! Gross.

Bland as all get out

As others have said, it doesn't matter what toppings are on their pizza, Zeeks pizza ends up tasting rather flavorless. The dough, everything-no flavor. Stay away.

Weak

No one in this town makes a good cheap pie, and Zeeks is no exception. From the top down it's all wrong. The cheese has no flavor, the sauce comes from a can, and the crust isn't even worth mentioning. The cook can't toss the dough evenly (if they can even toss it!), and the pizza oven's are cheap. Save your money and go get some pho, no good pizza here.

Bland

Although the place is very kid friendly and we go there alot- it is not because of the pizza. The pizza is very bland and the sauce has a somewhat strange flavor. It is a great place for families though if you aren't looking for good pizza.

Good of its Type

I shouldn't be reviewing this, because I don't like this kind of pizza, but if you do, you'll like Zeek's. You won't see me in there though. Too much dough, too much topping, too much cheese, too much everything, and the battered wooden tables remind me too much of college. Their sauce is a little zingier than most places of this type, if that matters to you.
