Terrible Experience

I raved about this place to my friend and took her there for late lunch today. After waiting a long while we were finally offered some dim sum, which looking back had probably been hanging around for too long. We ate a couple of items and then someone brought the cart back. We told her that we would like some Shu Mai, but my friend could not eat shrimp. The lady said it was pork, so my friend ate one. Halfway through my second Shu Mai I said, this has shrimp in it, I can see it. My friend had to go in to the bathroom and make herself VOMIT the shrimp in order to not have a severe allergic reaction to the shrimp. When I explained the situation to the staff at the register they said, 'oh, we will give you a 10% discount'. Nice. I will never eat here again. How embarrassing, I talked her in to going. I can't believe they were so unwilling to recognize their own mistake.

Eeehhh...

HOH is never better than OK, and on a bad day, it can be downright foul...and they aren't above recycling the stale dim sum items for service to gwai lo. Too many better options to waste time here.

Worst dim sum

i have frequented many dim sum places all over seattle and the eastside---House of Hong by far is the worst dim sum. You will not find any person of asian ethnicity recommending this place.

Wonderful Dim Sum

I am not sure about the other menu, but the Dim Sum is to die for. So tasty I have been craving it for days.....so tasty.

Fabulous dim sum

It comes quick and it's always delectable. Been there dozens of times and every time the dim sum has been spot on fabulous. The non-dim-sum menu is sub par so don't those reviews sway you from experiencing a fabulous easy wonderfully greasy brunch extravaganza.

worst spent money

My boyfriend read a lot of good review about their dim sum, so we wanted to try it. Unfortunately was too late for dim sum so we tried Queen of Prawns which it was more like Queen of Ketchup, and Beef Tangerine which it was Beef Barbeque….I was s disappointed. On the table there was no soy sauce or spicy oil, only some red vinegar (!!!) This meal was the worst spent 50 dollar of my Chinese eating life.

house of suck

okay, so i heard the dim sum was good, but sadly did not make it there in time to try it. So my girlfriend and myself ordered dinner instead. It was terrible. prawns with ketchup and beef with some crazy sweet bar-b-q sauce on it. maybe the dim sum is good, but the meal was really, really bad.

Bring lots of friends.

I made the mistake of going for dim sum here with only one other person. You will want to try too much of the dim sum, it's not possible to resist, then you will have too much on your table, then you will eat it all anyway and nearly expire. Party of 10 is perfect! Good variety, not 20 different versions of the same shrimp dumpling. Great place for a business lunch.

Dim Sum!

This is where I go for dim sum. It's huge, so no worries getting seated. The food is great-the usual selection of dumplings and pork/shrimp concoctions. Love those sesame balls.
