Food Good - Too Many Kids

Kid friendly, I get it...

That said, kids run free, not appropriate at a restaurant.

I'd have given five stars if it weren't for the above comment.

Food is fantastic and well priced!

Excellent food and Kid-Friendly

I felt the need to add a newer review here since complaints about the quality of food are way out of line. Being a father of a toddler, my initial attraction to this place was the fact that I could take my son here and drink beer at the same time. After ordering food, I was blown away. They have an excellent chef and this is some of the best "pub food" I've ever had. Even the food off the kids menu is great. My son usually gets the mac 'n cheese and I end up eating most of it.

this place should be good but the food is ATROCIOUS. You literally cannot swallow it. And SO overpriced. Too bad madrona doesn't have a decent mid price range restaurant. it needs one. don't go here for anything more than onion rings and a pint of manny's

Attention non-breeders:

I love good yuppy pub grub, pizza and beer, but the screaming kids and their smug, affluent parents are hard to deal with. The green goat pizza and enough beer are sometimes enough to make it bearable, though.

Agreed!

What works here is the kid vibe and beer. The food is priced a bit high for the quality. The staff really frienly and usually attentive.

Attention parents:

You aren't going to go here for the hamburgers. You aren't going here for the tasteless pizzas. You aren't going here for the fish n' chips. You're going here for your kids. Your kids love it here. They love the fireplace and the toys and the fact that the place is crawling with other children and relaxed parents who aren't feeling any subtle, uptight pressure. Mommy is more fun when she can have a really good beer, isn't she?
