Dumplings Rock

The scallion pancakes make me so happy. The meat or veggie filled dumplings make me swoon. This place is dirt cheap and out of this world.

I only order 3 things here...

Despite the small menu veggie options-- Szechuan Noodle Bowl should not be overlooked. Fresh handmade noodles and dumplings are made onsite and for many years I have been more than happy to order the same two veggie dishes (Cold Sesame Noodles w/ Vegetables and Veggie Dumplings in Spicy Sauce) over and over again. Super cheap (a bowl of 10 dumplings is $5) and made with l-u-v, love-- people who think Chinese food is "Sweet N' Sour _____" should open their palates and hearts to the wonders of the Szechuan Noodle Bowl's homemade-goodness.

Best dumplings in town

The scallion pancakes are a nice starter, all the dumplings are good (especially the steamed spinach tofu) and the spicy sauce they come submerged in is addictive. Very filling and cheap, charming, fast service...it's a fun hole-in-the-wall alternative to the bigger ID spots.

One of my faves

I go there nearly once a week, and I always get the same things. Pork & chive dumplings or the pork and napa dumplings, the spinach dumplings (hear that vegetarian?) and scallion pancakes. I always leave stuffed and happy. Nice folks. Watch them make the dumplings as you're eating them.
