LOCO MOCO!

This place is ono kau kau! I had the Loco Moco which is a local island favorite.. hamburger steak topped with fried egg over rice and covered with gravy. Hamburger steak is homemade i asked. Also, for the person who said this is not plate lunches... you must be loco. Do you even know what plate lunch is? Hawaii is a melting pot of foods and all Asian dishes are considered island faves... plate lunch is the way the plates are served up for eats. you must not be from hawaii. also, nowhere does it say traditional hawaiian plates... they clearly state hawaii style plates!

THis is NOT Hawaiian Food!

Deep fried Goyza (potstickers), Kimchee, teriyaki chicken rice bowl - these are not Hawaiian dishes. They have Spam Musubi, and spam this and spam that, but no Kaluah Pork, no Plate Lunch, no Haupia. And they said that Chicken Long Rice was CHinese. This place has slow service, cheap, oily food that is a heart-attack waiting to happen. Lots of sugar and salt and no flavor, but it sure fill syou up for less than $6!

Woah! Alooooooha!

If you havent tried this place, you need to go there soon before it gets so busy you won't have a place to sit. For REALZ! its pretty new and the food is really good, i love the teri beef, real hawaiian style macaroni salad, oh and the bulgogi plate! if you're a student like me, you'll appreciate their prices and daily specials that are even cheaper!

Great Food & Cheap!!!!

Aloha Kitchen is a new place that just opened on the Ave. Portions are huge at cheap prices and the food is SOOOO good! I recommend the Loco Moco or spam musubi. They make their own mac salad too and it is real homemade hawaii style mac salad! I heard they are putting in some new Korean foods for the students too.
