Go for good veggie dogs topped with chili and cheese (or pureed eggplant and onions, or baba ghanoush plus feta and pepperoncini, or other creative heart- and planet-friendly things) and a cold beer. You can count on good music and sweet faces behind the counter. Open late.

I like it

I'm not sure what it is about this place, but I can tell I'm hooked already. My vegetarian schnitzel is delicious, and Tania, the owner, is singing along with the Stones. She's also so nice I couldn't bring myself to tell her that I was allergic to the chocolate mint she brought to my computer. I can see that cheesecake factory from the window. I can't see why someone would go there when they could be surrounded by orange walls and an ecclectic menagerie of stuffed animals. Did I mention it is delicious?

A wonderous place of wonderful wonder and wonderosity

Sometimes I wonder if it would be possible to be a vegetarian if there weren't places like this. Try everything on the menu. Don't be a baby. Try it. The people there are always nice and you can check your email to see if your long lost mother was found by the private detective you hired (or whatever). And then there's the food, which, when needed, is the only thing one can think of eating.

What the hell?

Maybe I'm not your average drunk, but when I'm stumbling home at some late hour, and I see a hot dog place open, I'm probably looking for a HOTDOG. Not a damn tofu-dog. If only there had been a sign on the outside of the place to warn me. All I'm asking is for a little warning. The vixen inside laughed at my despair and coaxed me into trying a green log of some sort with "cheese" on it. If it doesn't melt, it's not cheese, lady. Thanks anyhow but next time I'm stumbling on to a real hotdog stand.

bad experiences

I've had two bad experiences at Cyberdogs. First time: my veggie dog was warm, but the stewy topping was not - it seemed to have been warmed in a microwave, all cold in the middle. So, I decided not to get food there, opting to go in just to use the interwebs from then on. Second time: the server didn't note the time I came in to use the computer. I got my hot chocolate (pretty tasty). But when I went to pay, the owner came up and erred on the side of more time rather than less. Also, I tried to pay with dollar coins and she recoiled. "I hate those," she said, because she ends up mistakenly giving them to people instead of quarters. She was just not nice. I recommend going up the hill a little ways to Uncle Elizabeth's if you need to use the internet. The people are really friendly and the coffee is good. Don't bother with Cyberdogs.

Fabulous!

I ate at this place within a month of it opening. I love a good chili cheese dog, and boy to they have a great one. Free internet to check my email while I wait for my dog to get ready, and a classic arcade game to boot. Love this place and come as often as I can.

But How Are Their Nachos?

The yenta who owns this place might fix you up on a dream date with one of her other customers (ask to see her photo album) but she won't serve you Nachos. 2 stars. Wait, vegan hot dog joint/dating service? 3 stars for absurdity.

Location! Location! Location!

When you're wandering around downtown and there's no edible/cheap food in sight, this is the perfect veggie fallback.
