On a table in front of the counter are rows of cold foods wrapped in plastic (try the twin shrimp/pork rolls packed with a small container of peanut sauce). Beyond this table are hot foods protected by a glass shield (including amazing peppery catfish in a thick tomato-red sauce). And beyond the hot foods is where some of the best banh mi in the city--ergo, some of the best sandwiches in the world--are assembled.

still love it!

Safeway and Qfc deli's all got some fail points this last inspection so fuck it! Saigon Deli has some of the best food in town and I've NEVER gotten sick after eating there. Start washing them hands and I will be back!

Just make sure for how to support the heath for the customer

Business is good if you can bring a lot customers to your business.
Customers do not mind if you rate your prices of your products if that cost for the safety of clean for making food

I am so sad if you closed your store.

Foul, stinky, needs to be shut down by the city.

Filthy, stinky, rat infested "restaurant". Don't believe me look at their Health inspection report. Worst Bahn Mi of my life, I literally threw up trying to swallow this rotten liver dog shit misleadingly named "3 kinds of ham," the worst part is I was in my car at the time. Now I can't eat Bahn Mi at all, barely can eat baguettes, this rat hole ruined one of my favorite dishes. After visiting the Saigon Deli I no longer shed a tear for Mai Lai.

good bahn mi, but don't read the health inspection report if you like this place..

I made the mistake of looking it up when I happened to stumble on the city's heath inspection restaurant search. They got a lot of points (points are bad).

Its like the Garden of Eden for Vietnamese to-go food

If you really want to fully appreciate the goodness of Saigon Deli, you have to go there sometime before the lunch rush hits - because thats the only time you'll see the entire dizzying array of colorful cakes, rice plates, pork buns, shrimp rolls and other Vietnamese delights. Every time I have one, I walk away wondering how the best bahn mi in town is also the cheapest ($2 for the tofu version..ask them to make it spicy!). If you've had a better bahn mi in Little Saigon, you're a fucking liar.
