I loved this little restaurant! This was an experience in food and a romantic atmosphere. Some friends had taken me there for dinner one evening and the table was ours for the night. The service was impeccable, and not rushed. The food was authentic and delicious. So sad to see that it has gone!

I always had stellar service and food here, often with a personal visit from the owner at the table. I am sad to see one of the few authentic Italian restaurants in town disappear. I am not sure what happened to the service and am sorry people had bad experiences there.
Maybe at some point in their past the food was good and service, better. But their departure from the Fremont food scene should have been expected. Horribly inferior Italian food from a jar and bad service just doesn't work.

Although there was only one other customer when we arrived, the table and chairs they showed us to were dirty. Service was poor. Seemed like the waiter really didn't want to be bothered with serving customers. The fellow who served us food and drink had a baby in his other arm the whole time. We had to ask for silverware. Things seemed dirty. Food was just okay, not spectacular.

We showed up on a thursday night. The owner had his kids helping serve water and set tables but he forgot to teach them to smile. After surly service from this group of 7 year old underpaid staff, they proceeded to screech and run wildly near the traffic on 34th. This was about the last thing I wanted to accompany our dinner, especially after paying $12 an hour to leave mine at home.
We should have left then but somehow I had memories of a quality dinner one night several years before. The food took far to long and was inedible. The wine on an empty stomach was the only highlight of the night.
