I have eaten here a few times for lunch, I decided to take my wife here for a nice dinner out and also to see first hand a belly dancer.
Pros:
The initial service was fast, food came on time and the belly dancing was absolutly mesmerizing.... my wife was even pleased. The wine was great.
Cons:
The pita had a slight taste of old oil.
Our waitress must have quit or something because to get the check it took 20 mins to get anyones attention and another to get the check.
Overall:
Fix your servers and change your oil more often, otherwise great.

it was my first Greek food experience. I have to say I was amazed that I loved the food as much as I did. Any first time eaters I would recomend the sampler plates so you can taste all of the great food.

I should have ordered a salad. They looked pretty good. The lamb souvlaki was so tough and nervy that i couldn't finish it and actually had to spit a piece into my napkin. As for the beef souvlaki (which my husband ordered), it is NOT fillet mignon. At the price they're charging for using the least expensive ingredients, they're probably making 700% on each plate! Good for them but we're not going back.

I have enjoyed Costa's hospitality and great food since 1967 when he was in the U. District at the Continental Cafe.I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is the first restaurant I bring out of town guests to dine. The food and atmosphere are authentic. I lived in Athens for a year and this place is the real deal!

My grandfather and I have never agreed politically on much, but there is one thing we do agree upon: it’s damn hard to focus on delicious lamb and moussaka when there’s a drop-dead gorgeous woman shaking her belly at you, coated in spangly things. So the next time my grandfather’s in town, and he nor I happen to have persons of the feminine persuasion we’ve got to pay more attention to than the beautiful belly dancer who’s shimmying right next to the table, we’ll go back to Costa Opa.
Family run with a long history of being down in Fremont, I do love going to Costa Opa for dinner. As far as a date place goes, it’s also quiet, with plenty of booths in the back that look out over the south end of Fremont. However, the recommendation that if one is on an early date, that avoiding the times of the bellydancers would be a good idea (unless said date happens to be INTO bellydancing and can appreciate it for…*ahem* the art form).
The food is usually good and the owners do not skimp or Americanize their recipes much – the food is much the same as I remember it being in Athens the last time I rolled through, and the vegan and vegetarian options also keep those who find the concept of eating cute baby sheep appalling somewhat well-fed as well.

but...
It was quite excellent. The food reminded me of when I was actually in Greece; it had an authenticity to it that was refreshing. Lots of delicious vegetables. I say yum. Yum. And the portions are quite nice for the price; you'll get a good full meal for 10 dollars. I look forward to going back.

I been to a lot of Greek restaurants in Seattle, and Costas is my favorite. It has great decor, good service and great food. The prices are reasonable and the location is great. Also, they occasionally have Greco-centric performances like music and dance. It's a fun place to go to, I love it.

They'll light it in front of you and say "opa!" It is basically cheese fried in oil. It is an amazing thing. The food is good, the vegetarian stuff probably more than the meat. Their cooked things tend toward mushy - veggies included. But there's a huge dessert pastry that is delicious. And ouzo. And a bellydancer. The entertainment value is very high.
I've been here for lunch and dinner, and I have to say I prefer lunch (even though it doesn't come with a belly dancer). The lunch salads are fantastic and more than you can eat. Dinner was good, but I'm not a huge Greek food fan, and the other meals seem to have more variety. The dancer was nice, though!
