I'm a fan of Ethiopian food and think the food at Blue Nile is one of the best in Seattle. The injera is mild and not sour or bitter; the components of the veggie combo were left in big pieces rather than all being mashed up like paste; and the green chicken is flavorful and moist. The menu isn't clear, but the waitress was helpful in deciphering what was available. This isn't a place to go if you're in a hurry though; we waited over 30 minutes for dinner. Still, I think it was well worth the wait.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Blue Nile. Being a hole-in-the-wall, it was very clean. The portions were large, the prices good and the flavors excellent. We would go back.
