Restaurant Details

  • This is the only actual restaurant at Seattle Center. Michelangelo's offers pastas and various meats, soups, salads, and sandwiches, plus an array of wood-fired pizzas—and cocktails! If you're at Seattle Center for some sort of event, you might as well eat here, because there's nowhere else to go, and anyway, the food's good.
  • Features: Family Friendly (nice to babies) and Good for Groups
  • Cuisine: Italian and Pizza
  • Serving Hours: Sun-Thu 11 am-6 pm, Fri-Sat 11 am-8 pm.
  • Price Range: $-$$

Party planning

Not sure what everyone is complaining about. I must have been there on a good day. I can't appreciate anything more than an upbeat staff, physically working owners/managers and a cold salad and a hot bowl of tomato basil soup! I may be stuck working on the campus but at least I have a great place to relax and eat! I've actually booked a company party later this month at their establishment so I'll report back when it's all done!

Suprised

I had people in town visiting so of course we hit all the tourist spots including the Seattle Center. We decided to stop for lunch at Michelangelo's Bistro and Bar. It is the only full service restaurant and drinks were mandatory. We ordered our lunch, which was a difficult decision because everything looked good. We noticed the menu and some of the signs had a different name on them. We asked our server and were told that Michelangelo's was recently purchased by new owners who are working at bringing the locals back to Seattle Center. Our food was delicious and we were all pleasantly suprised. I live in Lower Queen Anne and will be returning to try more of the items we didn't order.

Worst resturant I've ever been to

Wow, the menu selection was very small and all the food we received was HORRIBLE. It's like they microwave their food, the pasta was hard on the edges, the pizza was greasy and tasteless. I ordered Onion rights which were around $5, I got 5 total and they tasted like cardboard. If you want a sit down resturant go to the EMP resturant, its 100X better, or really eat in the food court because thats better!

disgusting

I went a little after lunch. The smell inside the restaurant was unpleasant. The wild mushroom pizza made me ill that night (either from poisoning or rot). Needs to be closed by health department.

Food? What food?

Three friends and I came on a busy day in June and were tired and hungry enough to put our name on the list and wait for at least 20 minutes. During this time someone left the restaurant announcing, "It's not worth it! It's not worth it!" to the line on her way out. We had already been waiting and the food court lines were long, so we remained. 15 minutes after we were seated and subsequently forgotten, my friend got up and grabbed water glasses for the five of us. About 10 minutes later, a waiter came for our drink and food orders. After more waiting, one friend went to the bar herself to get the drinks we'd ordered. Two of our party went to Pizza Haven, stood in line, and returned with pizza on cafeteria trays, to the amusement of other hungry diners. My friend returned with our drinks and we wolfed down our pizza. ONE HOUR after being seated, we left without ever being brought our food. The waiters never said, "Just so you, the wait will be about an hour," or "I have no intention of bringing you anything." I think I'm pretty patient when it comes to overworked waitstaff, but this was appalling. I think this is the worst service I have received - er, not received...
