Not so great

We went for lunch with friends yesterday. Not such a great experience. We ordered at the counter and I asked to get the beet salad first. Unfortunately I added the tip when I paid before seeing how bad the service was ...oh well...lesson learned...a half hour after ordering and seeing that 3 other tables around us had received their orders (both salads and pizzas they ordered just after us, but about the same time), one of my friends and I asked nicely when we might be getting our beet salad (which is tasty, by the way). The lady at the counter replied "we bring out the food as soon as it's ready!" Beet salad a half hour and 2 pizzas (one burnt on the bottom), 40 minutes. We've been here for dinner several times and it wasn't bad but after this we won't be back.

Going Downhill

We were excited when this restaurant first opened in the neighborhood. It has an attractive, casual atmosphere and interesting variety in it's menu for such a small kitchen. Their sandwich with mushrooms, peppers, goat cheese and pine nuts used to be fantastic but each time I go the bun gets smaller and the amount of filling has gotten so small that the last time I sent it back and asked if it was a joke. What started out as promising has turned out to be a real disapointment.

Return for one pie

I agree with the reviews that it's mostly mediocre, however, their butternut squash, pancetta, and goat cheese pizza warrants multiple returns! That's right-- it sounds like a weird combo but you'll love it! Try it!

Mediocre at Best

I have to agree with the previous post, except that I think the description warrants three stars. The food is decent but overpriced for what it is. After I factor in the poor service, I give it two

Friday night, no wait

We often go here Friday nights when we're hungry for decent pizza and don't want to dress up or wait in line at places like Tutta Bella, Via Tribunali, or Serious Pie. The pizza at Mioposto tastes just fine, better than average even. And the beet salad is quite tasty. It's a small neighborhood joint that has a short rush at the early family dining hour (lots o' kids). Like other Chow Foods joints, it runs the risk of being too expensive for what it's worth, but it's not as overpriced as the other restaurants in that group. The dessert offerings are uninteresting and somewhat mismatched with the rest of the fare.
