Restaurant Details

  • Bottega Italiana is a semi-mod little space in the Market. Its freezer case is filled with gelati arranged in soft bosomy mounds. Bottega is earthier than its gelato compatriots: A sample of the greenish-gray pistachio gelato suggests that colorings aren't in use here, nor are they necessary, as it has the toasty smooth intensity of freshly ground nuts. Plum-toned frutti di bosco sorbet, made with blue- and other berries, still bears flecks of berry skin. The shiny chocolate gelato was unapologetically brown-black in both color and taste.

I am Italian 100%,born and raised in Catania Sicily.
I have been in USA for about 6 yrs and when i moved in WA..i decided to look on the net and search for an italian gelateria...
After i tried la bottega Italian..i go pretty much every day..lol especially now that im pregnant..
Tonight i got Nocciola,Gianduia,Pistacchio...and my hubby got Panna Cotta,Caramello and Nocciola...it is BUONISSIMOOOO.....we LOVE IT.
Lo consiglio a tutti soprattutto agli italiani che hanno nostalgia del nostro cibo:)

Gelat-O yeah!!

When considering gelato there are really two factors to look at: texture, and flavor. In both of these categories, Bottega Italiana has excelled! Their flavors pop like you're eating the real thing (be it, fruit, nut, chocolate, etc). Also, the texture is so velvety smooth that it's hard to even wrap your mind around. Also, Bottega Italiana has great coffee. Granted, it's traditional Italian style so there's not the widest selection of drink options. But what they have is authentic and well-prepared.
