CRAPPY!!!
Ballard Sushi; this use to be our favorite sushi restaurant. I ordered take-out last night and it was terrible. I ordered a dragon roll and they gave me some kind of eel roll. It was horrible. I also ordered a tempura shrimp roll and they made me some kind of fake crab roll; no tempura to be seen. I felt like I just was at the McDonald's drive thru and they gave me somebody else's order, except I was the only one in the restaurant.
I use to be a frequent customer here; this was the first to see a lady preparing the rolls. She obviously had no idea of what she was doing. What a waste of twenty dollars; I'll never go back...

This place has gone down hill
Bento Sushi used to be my favorite place in the whole city. I used to eat there twice a month or more. I've sinced moved to south Seattle and finally got back there this weekend. It must have changed owners! The carpets are filthy, the serving dishes are worn, the original awesome staff and fabulous chefs are gone and the quality of the food is terrible. I nearly had to go to the ER due to dehydration from the teryaki sushi and soy sauce (MSG-o-rama?). My boyfriend had the beef teriyaki box which had so much garlic in it he was extremly ill and reeked for 2 days. We will never go there again. If I could give zero stars I would!

ok ok
I end up here about 1x per month, sometimes with my kid in tow. It is OK sushi. He likes the tempura and teriyaki. I go here when I feel antisocial and need to eat fish. It works, it's quick. It is inexpensive. : ) Sometimes, I need to eat fried oysters.

It's Okay
My son and I go to Bento Sushi once every couple of months. Their spicy tuna roll tastes different than any that I have gotten elsewhere. Not bad, necessarily, but not good either. I also feel like the cuts of fish we get there are different than other places and have a different texture. Other than that, the service is great and so is the food. We have ordered both Sushi and bento boxes and been pretty happy. It is really the only affordable decent place in that area for sushi.

A great place to get yer cheap sushi fix
Don't go here expecting a romantic place, but they have a $6.95 16 piece sushi special that's pretty great to me. Like the above said, not the best sushi on earth, but for the price it's an awesome value. The service was pretty good too and they have a lot of other selections (other than Sushi) that looked promising...or at least smelled good.

I love Sushi Bento
The fish is super fresh. The prices are great. It has no ambiance and the servers are bickering siblings. Seriously one of my favorite joints.
