Best Happy Hour Deal

When I want to go to Happy Hour, I typically don't want to go by myself, and most of my friends live outside the city, so it is hard for them to make it anywhere by 6pm. Sazerac solved this problem by making happy hour go until 8!! Not only that, but the pizza is cheap and so amazingly delicious, and the drinks weren't bad (and the price wasn't exactly cheap, but better). My only complaint would be the seating - we had a weird table with block/chair things to sit on with no back, and ended up swapping chairs with all the nearby tables as they opened up. We made a racket, but no one cared and the waitress even helped. I'll definitely be back.

No Happy Hour on Sundays!

This overview is mistaken i went there last sunday and they told me and the friend i was with that they don't have happy hour this day!Bummer, It looks really good! We did have two lemondrops nonetheless, and if theyre that good for happy hour...

MY FAVORITE HAPPY HOUR

2 sliders for $2, a pizza for $2, maybe even more food on the happy hour menu but I don't even notice because I am so content with my sliders, pizza and lemon drop to care about anything else in the world. $5 cocktails, $4 wells and draft beer, $3 wine, Mon-Fri 4-8. You can't beat it!

Cheap n Swanky

It's a hotel bar with $3 draft beer, $5 cocktails and $2 food. I can get a couple of pints of Mack n Jacks Porter, 2 orders of food and be out for less than $15. The service has always been a little slow in getting the check processed but never unfirnedly. Very happy, am making it a weekly event.

My Favorite Happy Hour

Sazerac happy hour is the best for 7 important reasons. ONE: Big soft booths with coat hooks. TWO: Amazing food for $2! Not just little plates of fries, but whole pizzas that are big enough to call dinner, with delicious, fancy ingredients! THREE: Servers, adorable without exception, who don't begrudge happy hour but rather fully encourage its exploitation. FOUR: There are 4, count 'em, 4 hours of happy hour! 4-8pm every day! Because nothing is worse than working late AND missing happy hour. FIVE: It's scene-y, but in a good way. SIX: The drink specials are solid! Not the cheapest in the city, but attentively made and very well-portioned. $5 for a tasty cosmo is pretty great. SEVEN:

Pretty good

That other review says 'don't knock the service,' but I guess there are good waiters and bad waiters there. Ours was definitely not happy to be there. It looks like they're remodeling, which is good because it felt like the designer might have also created the Saved by the Bell opening sequence. The food was good, though. I won't say trying this place is a bad idea, but it may not be worth the cost.

Dont' knock the service!

The reviews we read before trying out Sazerac for the first time warned about the service and raved about the food. So we went in expecting to "put up with" the service in order to experience quality cuisine. But our waiter laid any concerns about the service to rest immediately with his witty and professional approach. His food and wine recommendations were spot-on. Our group of 4 did its usual sampling of each other's dishes, unanimously agreeing everything was delicious and expertly prepared. The ribs (smoky and fall-off-the-bone tender), the catfish (the best I've ever tasted) and the duck were standouts, not to mention the appetizers! To top off the evening, the waiter convinced the bartender to come to our table to prepare our dessert drinks with a spectacle of fire and spices. A terrific dining experience from start to finish.
