Get there early

Anyone who rolls out of bed late on a Sunday morning and expects to get a table at Alki Cafe right away will be be facing a wait - so get there about 10:00am and you should be golden. As for the food ~ AWESOME BREAKFAST ~ make sure you try the "gingerbread pancakes" at least once (note: you can order a single a la carte). Also if you're an omelette fan, their crab & avocado omelette is to die for (I always end up with some in a to go box).

Hearty eats

You get a lot of food for your buck here. Nothing fancy, just solid staples. Good view. Good people watching inside and out.
