This place disgusts me.

A friend and I went to Amber to see what all the buzz was about. Needless to say, He was from out of state and had a valid id. The bouncer straight up told him "its not gonna work tonight bro". I couldnt believe whats jerks these guys were. Save your money and time and avoid Amber.

I think the chef was wasted, the bartenders are sub par and slow, door guys had no personality and thought they were some sort of gods and WAY too many douchy east siders..if youre gonna hang in bell town at all, See Sound Lounge is a WAY better choice..

Get over it

I went there once, and really hated the place. I was convinced by a friend to go back again, and I was equally disappointed. Don't waste your time here. Belltown is the worst.

Waste of time

It took forever to get in, but like a sheep I thought the long line was a sign of something that needed to be seen. It was packed to fire-hazard standards inside. The only cool thing was the back area which had ample booth seating. Sitting there, being glad I was away from the throngs, I realized I could really get away by just leaving. Nice lighting though. Eh.

I hate Amber!!!

Would not let me in with a Military ID... I will never again in my life try to go to this bar, and the girls I brought with me left when the douchebag bouncer would not let me in... I am going to make it my mission to spread the word about how bad this bar sucks, oh, and also, they seem to have something against veterans of war... Hey, Amber, fuck you!

Some people like striped shirts

Hey, if you hang out in Belltown, chances are you are wearing a striped shirt/backless shirt (dending on gender) so that's not neccessarily a bad thing. Our bartender was great at our bachelor party, and while the place was a might crowded for my taste their was definitely a good vibe going on, friendly people all around, and good drinks. The bathroom attendant was cool and didn't try to sell me any real estate or other scheme, which was refreshing. This was a solid bar with good music, nothing "great", but definitely a good regular joint.

Amber Sucks!

The staff was ridiculously rude, the bar is cliche and it was an awful time. Really wanted to give this place a chance and it just fell flat considering all the great reviews.
