Bayou on 1st

We decided to go out to a late lunch and wound up at Bayou on 1st. It was really good although it took a long time for the food to get to us. There was only one waitress and one cook serving quite a few people. We had the seafood jambalaya and the shrimp gumbo. The jambalaya was good and full of shrimp and crawfish, but the shrimp gumbo was really, really good with that nutty, dark brown roux - not too much rice. Yum Yum!!
