They delivered wine to my door!

Last night it was pissing down rain and my husband and I'd both had shitty long days at work and an empty fridge. No interest in dragging our lazy asses to Via Tribulani, our normal spot for amazing pizza. Friend had told us to try ZAW.
We had their apricot, blue chhese, chicken ZAW with a pear and blue cheese salad (yeah we're into stinky cheese, deal with it), and a bottle of Whistle Stop red for $33.
Guy on the phone was great, told me how to cook the ZAW, and a half hour later a soaking wet bike rider showed up at my door with it all. Our minds were blown by how good the ZAW and salad were.
Little tip. Don't order here if you're into gooey rubber cheezy ham and pineapple--they don't do that. If you're into the style of pizza at Via Tribulani or Serious Pie (thin crispy chewy crust, real toppings) though, and don't want to go out, then this is a great find. Rona

A little expensive

but definitely worth it. I was dubious about the thin crust, but it was more than adequate. The appetizers & slads are tasty, too.

Price sticks in yr 'zaw

For the price, I expected much better. The crust is PAPER thin. Like eating on your construction paper at school. Having someone tell me which beer or soda goes with makes me just laugh. Get a life

I have never been here and I do not plan to do so ever. Gourmet toppings and interesting ingredients "set this place apart"? Oh wait, that sounds like every pizza chain in Seattle. I have no problem with gourmet items on pizza but you must first learn to make an edible sauce and crust before taking another step into making a quality pizza.

Great addition to the 'Hill

Been waiting to try the pizza from Zaw ever since they opened and finally ordered last night for our debate party. We orded an appeti'zaw (a smaller appetizer-like pizza), two of their regular zaw pizzas, and a salad. I was a bit hesitant that pizza I cooked myself would turn out very well but the crust turned out nice and crisp, so I was pleased. The Blue Cheese & Pear appeti'zaw was decadent, we also ordered the Arugula Patch and My Big Fat Greek Pizza. The gourment toppings and interesting ingredient combinations really set this place apart from your traditional pizza joints in my opinion. Oh yeah, and did I mention you can buy a bottle of wine and they will deliver it with your food??? This place is now a fixture in my take-out menu drawer.
