I had by far the best time I have ever had in the Spitfire. Not the place one would think of when thinking of New Years parties but even some local celebrties know a good thing when they see it. Hats off to a job well done/

Spitfire now has new and improved happy hours, 4-7pm M-F and the new specials include $3.50 small plates, $6 daily bartenders choice, $5 house and fresh fruit margaritas, $4 wells and wine and $3 draft beer. Monday is Happy Hour ALL NIGHT! This may be the best Happiest Hour in town!

Flat screen tv's abound and they show a diverse array of sports. The food and service are excellent and the prices are reasonable. Great interior design too, that fits the old building's industrial character.

If you want to watch sports and aren't interested in sitting in your typical sports bar, this is your place. There is some very interesting art on the walls, a great raw space, good drinks, and friendly staff. It has an awesome back room for private parties, and the coolest "smokers lounge" ever. It is actually "indoors", but one wall is a big old iron fence so you can still smoke outside (and it has a coy fountain). A little more expensive than your "orange and white" sports bar, but much more suited for an upscale crowd.

We travel around the country and Spitfire is one of the most interesting spaces we've seen. The environment is engaging and urban, the food surprisingly good and the multiple screens make for great viewing. We went for brunch and were amazed that the place was not packed. Seattle is lucky.

i have been a fan of the spitfire since the very beginning. it is bar-none the coolest bar in town with its avant-garde but comfortable ambience. i often find myself dreaming about the santa fe chicken enchilada with egg over easy, or the amazing lamb skewers. friendly and attentive 'no-tude' staff is more than a plus.
