I'm no longer a teen, but someone using the word "clitzpah" would have been removed immediately from the list of trusted adult women with whom I felt comfortable discussing bodies and sexuality. That word says "showing off how cool I am, and looking forward to a Facebook post in which I relay your secrets to all my followers as a self-congratulatory anecdote!"

You're physician moms--just use anatomical terms and let the kids you are trying to guide make up the slang.

In what way is LW2 using sex-addiction language?

Private investigator, now. I'm no computer expert, but can't the IP address be traced? Or other tricks from those in the trade?
LW, you're a good friend!

Depending on the autoimmune disorder, JASB may be on expensive medications to suppress his overactive immune system. First, no one on immunosuppressants should be doing bareback porn. Second, move to a place with expanded Medicaid so you are not dependent on your parents to cover your costly meds. Check how much your monthly premium will be with subsidies.

Neither Dan not Sherman Alexie ruled on wigs for the long hair problem. Long hair is a pain, and I get the objectification concerns, but keeping your long-term partner happy by playing along with occasional objectification seems like a good idea, so I say get a wig for at-home, bedroom use only.

Alternatively, follow the example of the principal in Ferris Bueller and demand to see the fetus corpse befire getting roped into any more conversations.

I think asking, "So who else have you talked about this with?" is reasonable. If she says "No one," is that because of taboos around sex and contraception? Anyway, gently encourage enlargement of the listening team.

This seems cleaner than rimming and safer than road head, and without pregnancy risk. I'm with Donny K--if you can imagine it, someone (younger than I am) is already doing it, and good for them.

No opinion on the poll, just need to respond to commenters:

@24 Alison Cummins--it pains me to disagree with your lovely self but I think you are being flip about the pain of divorce for the children, and the parents who then only see their children half-time! As the former kid in that situation I endorse the "keep it a secret and keep living with your kids" approach.

On that note @1 and @3--my parents divorced only once I was an adult, and then my mom told my dad that we kids were the product of an affair. He (who had had affairs of his own) skipped the drama and we proceeded as ever--father and two adult children. We have a great relationship, which he also enjoys, and would not be enjoying if he had decided that it was a catastrophe.

Two dysfunctional relationships ended and people free to move on. How is this pooch screwed?
